I just couldn’t wait to met both him and his highly detailed military themed artwork. Sunday 14th came and as I arrived at the top of the steps, Dave was there and said wait there. He ran on ahead with his camera and snapped a photo as we met for the first time. Here’s the photo, I’m Kevin Preston, on the left, and he’s Kevin Preston, on the right lol

 

 

It was, and still is, the oddest feeling seeing your name up on the wall next to another Artist. I sort of can’t get my head around it still, and even now writing this I’m smiling at the thought of it. I love this universe, it keeps throwing such cool things into the mix. I suggested changing my name to Sophie to avoid any confusion in the group :) However, Kevin Preston has a middle name and so now goes by Kevin John Preston, so we can tell whose who :) I almost half wonder if this was the universes way of making me be more open about Sophie on facebook, because that was the first time I really mentioned Sophie in the group. I’m so glad Kevin Preston joined the group – here’s some of his artwork :)

You can meet us, the two Kevin Prestons, at the Plymouth Hoe Art Fair. Held every fine Sunday between 11am – 4pm, along the Colonnade on the Hoe. Sadly it isn’t on this Sunday due to bad weather, but hopefully next Sunday it will be nice and sunny :)
